Key Ingredients:

Organic Calendula and Self-Heal, grown and slow-infused in the Twigroot gardens on Cortes Island. Rich in flavonoids and wound-supportive compounds, they help calm inflammation, encourage skin repair, and restore comfort to hands that are overworked or weathered.

Organic Rosemary, grown in the Twigroot gardens and traditionally used as a tonic and protective botanical. Rich in antioxidants including rosmarinic acid, it helps defend the skin against environmental stress and support overall resilience with regular use.

Organic Shea Butter, deeply moisturizing and rich in fatty acids and vitamins A and E. It softens rough or depleted skin, supports the skin barrier, and provides lasting protection without heaviness.

Organic Hemp Seed Oil, grown and cold pressed in Canada, rich in Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids that closely mirror the skin's own lipid profile. It replenishes moisture and absorbs readily without leaving a greasy finish.

As an artist, formulator, gardener, and homesteader, my hands are rarely idle. Rose and blackberry brambles, constant washing, firewood gathering and stacking, the general wear of a working day outdoors. I needed something that could actually keep up and so did most of the people in my community!

Rosemary has become one of my most trusted allies in formulation, particularly for skin that needs to heal and recover. The demand for this cream has grown to the point where I've had to expand my rosemary garden just to keep up, which feels like exactly the right kind of problem to have.

This formula went through a few versions before I landed on this one. It's become something of a legend here on Cortes Island, and well beyond.
