This cream started with the roses. We grow both wild and cultivated varieties in the Twigroot gardens, and for years I've been drawn to the way rose works on the spirit as much as the skin. There's something about the scent that is genuinely restorative in a way that's hard to explain but easy to feel.

The butters came next. Cacao and shea are workhorses in botanical formulation, but the quality of the source matters enormously. We use only sustainably sourced and organic butters, and you can feel the difference in how the cream absorbs and how the skin responds.
