Blueberry seed oil is a light, fast-absorbing oil with a delicate, fruity scent. Ours is organic, cold pressed and grown in Canada, and it’s packed with antioxidants from one of the most colourful berries around.
What is blueberry seed oil?
Blueberries are small, deep blue berries native to North America, where they’ve been gathered for thousands of years. The oil is cold pressed from the tiny seeds left after the fruit is harvested, turning what would otherwise be a byproduct into a nourishing skin care oil.
Blueberry seed oil benefits for skin
Blueberry seed oil contains a balance of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids that help support the skin’s natural barrier and hold in moisture, leaving skin soft and supple. It’s also rich in naturally occurring antioxidants and vitamin E, which help protect skin from everyday environmental stress.
Its light texture makes it particularly versatile in facial care and well suited to delicate areas such as the skin around the eyes.
How to use blueberry seed oil
Blueberry seed oil is most often used in facial serums, oils and eye creams. A few drops can be pressed into damp skin after cleansing, or look for it in a lightweight serum layered under your moisturizer.
